WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK
1. Pamphlet Campaign Against Conversion Rackets
- Launched a village-to-village pamphlet distribution drive in Bihar’s Chapra to warn citizens about how illegal conversion rackets operate under the guise of “miracle cures” and “free education”.
- Pamphlets also highlight that SC status and benefits are lost after conversion, as only Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists are constitutionally eligible.
- This campaign has already reached multiple villages.
2. Got Probe Ordered into Quota Fraud by Converts
- Submitted evidence in three cases where women continued to claim Scheduled Caste (SC) benefits despite religious conversion through nikah.
- On our complaint, Muzaffarnagar administration ordered a probe and directed criminal cases to be filed against the offenders
3. Workshop to train activists
- Organised a workshop with over 100 participants to equip grassroots leaders with the know-how to file cases and secure legal victories against quota misuse by religious converts.
4. Published Multiple Exposes on Illegal Conversion Traps
- Missionary-run hostel in Rajasthan’s Alwar caught indoctrinating Hindu and Sikh children with crude “experiments” that Hindu deities are powerless while Jesus alone is saviour. Acting on tip-off, police raided the premises and made arrests.
- In Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam, a govt hospital staffer caught funnelling patients to his pastor-brother’s conversion trap through miracle-healing claims. After tip-off, police raided and made arrests.
