WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK
1. Got Major Illegal Conversion Racket Shut Down
- Rashtra Jyoti exposed and dismantled a large-scale faith-healing conversion racket in Saran district, Bihar, led by a pastor locally known as “Paniya Baba”.
- Field investigation revealed weekly gatherings of more than 5,000 villagers, mainly Dalits and the poorest, manipulated through “Jesus-blessed water” claimed to cure cancer and paralysis.
- Anti-Hindu propaganda was openly spread; villagers were told their deities were the cause of their misery.
- Rashtra Jyoti complaint to NHRC, highlighted human rights violations of poor and Dalit communities.
- NHRC Member Priyank Kanoongo promptly acknowledged and issued notice.
- Saran Police Crackdown (16 Sept 2025):
- DM and SSP ordered a detailed probe.
- Permission for such gatherings revoked.
- Future sabhas banned.
- Local Bihar media credited Rashtra Jyoti’s investigation for sparking official action.
2. Pamphlet Awareness Campaign Expands in Bihar
- Rashtra Jyoti’s door-to-door awareness campaign against illegal conversions continued in Bihar. Covered Poorvi Telpa panchayat earlier; now extended to Manjhi panchayat.
- Leaflets distributed on:
- SC Order 1950 (Article 341)
- conversion ends SC benefits for Dalits.
- Methods of conversion mafias: miracle-healing tricks, inducements with ration, education, cash.
- Message: right to propagate religion does not mean right to decieve.
3. Another ‘Save the Constitution’ Workshop
- Rashtra Jyoti’s SC cell held another crucial workshop, this time in Nurpur area, Bijnor (UP), against misuse of SC quota by religious converts.
- Focus: Article 341, Constitution Scheduled Caste Order 1950, which restricts Dalit quota for practicing Hindus, Buddhists and Sikhs only.
- Keynote by Bhupendra Pal Singh (Head, Rashtra Jyoti SC Cell and Founder, Vishwa Dalit Parishad). “Those misusing reservations after conversion are committing fraud against the nation. It has been reiterated by Supreme Court time and again,” he said.
- Workshop trained and mobilised activists to build cases locally.
4. Gems of Bollywood: Awareness against irresponsible and anti-national content
- Sanjeev Newar’s explosive interview on Bollywood’s cultural damage went viral this week, clocking 7 lakh views in just 7 days.
- Sparked new debate on Bollywood’s deep anti-Hindu narratives and its corrosive impact on society.
- Notably, Gems of Bollywood is an education initiative by Rashtra Jyoti on culture and entertainment.
NARRATIVE SHREDDED THIS WEEK
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s claim – “If Hinduism had equality, why would anyone convert?” – demolished by Rashtra Jyoti.
Counterpoints:
- Most modern-day conversions are evidently driven by fraudulent miracle-healing circuses, not equality.
- History of conversions: violence, genocides, threats of hellfire. Today: Charismatic Christianity preying on poor via staged exorcisms.
- Hypocrisy: Converts still corner SC quotas reserved for Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists. When exposed, they claim: “We never left Hinduism in heart.”
- If conversion is for equality, let govt abolish reservations and make mass conversion policy – will Siddaramaiah dare?
