On the revered bhoomi of Shivrinarayan in Chhattisgarh, where Mata Shabari is believed to have offered berries to Bhagwan Shri Ram with unmatched devotion, 50 tribal families returned to the Sanatan Dharma fold after having been misled into conversion in recent years.
The programme was led by Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, one of the most prominent voices working against unlawful and deceptive conversions in Chhattisgarh and other tribal regions.
In keeping with the tradition pioneered by his illustrious father, late Dilip Singh, Prabal Judev personally washed the feet of the returning families amid Vedic mantra chanting, sending a powerful message of dignity, acceptance and civilisational belonging.
The event was held at Ram Milenge Ashram, Tendua Dham, on 6 May and was graced by the widely respected Jagadguru Shri Ramabhadracharya Ji, who delivered katha before thousands of devotees, with special emphasis on “Shabari Ki Nishtha” – the devotion of Mata Shabari.
The programme was organised jointly by Ram Milenge Ashram Organising Committee, Dharma Jagran Samanvay Vibhag, Dilip Singh Judeo Foundation and Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation.

Larger Vision: Swami Shraddhanand Fund
Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation supported this programme under its Swami Shraddhanand Fund, created to strengthen ground-level efforts against deceptive conversion networks and support lawful, dignified return of families who wish to reconnect with their ancestral Dharma.
The Fund is named after Swami Shraddhanand, who dedicated his life to the protection of Dharma, social reform, education, and the respectful return of those who had been separated from their civilisational roots.
Across tribal and vulnerable regions, many families are targeted through inducements, false miracle-healing claims, fear and brainwashing. The Swami Shraddhanand Fund supports efforts that counter this ecosystem through awareness, ground outreach, legal guidance, documentation and community-level Dharma work.
